Full Job Description

As a Senior Requirements Engineer you will be responsible for…

  • Developing an understanding of our customers' challenging requirements and developing, validating, and managing requirements through designs and qualification/acceptance activities
  • Supporting and learning how we steer existing and new programmes through implementation of industry standard systems engineering best practises
  • Acting as a Systems Engineering and Requirements Management Focal for the Galley's Business
  • Developing the framework for requirement management
  • Formulating, reviewing, and analysing requirements from a variety of inputs
  • Assisting in the definition and rollout of the Systems Engineering Vision for Galleys
  • Implementing a strategy to improve reuse of requirements across platforms
  • Assisting in the definition and implementation of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) in the Galleys business
  • Liaising with Subject Matter Experts to ensure Requirements are cascaded into to key compliance documentation
  • Compiling and Maintaining a Live Compliance Matrix for continued compliance inc. Means of Compliance Management
  • Supporting the wider engineering team to ensure validation and verifying that customer requirements are satisfied through planned qualification and test activities
  • Liaising with our customers and the impacted stakeholders
  • Maintain KPI's of Incoming Requirements and Non-conformances
  • Driving communications to ensure compliance across the Galleys Team

    Degree level qualification (or equivalent experience) in relevant STEM subject
  • Experience with requirements and verification/validation within Systems Engineering
  • MS Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and/or Project
  • Experience working with a PLM System, preferably Teamcenter
  • Experience with DOORS or alternative requirements management software
