Full Job Description
A unique and exciting fixed term/secondment opportunity has arisen for an exceptional individual to be appointed as a Band 8a Senior Research Impact Manager.
This role will suit a self-motivated individual with strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to think laterally and work with minimal day to day supervision.
The post holder will play a key role in the delivery of projects associated with the Embedding Research in the NHS Programme, as well as supporting the overall programme management.
Working with NHS R&D Directors, NHS Finance Directors and Health
Economists, the post holder will promote innovation and best practice in measuring the economic impact and value of research to NHS Wales, The key duties as follows:
The postholder will lead on a range of service improvement programmes acrossNHS Wales supporting NHS organisations to measure the impact and value of research on an ongoing basis.
The post holder will be a key member of the team working on the Embedding Research in the NHS programme for Health and Care Research Wales.
The post holder will support all aspects of the planning and delivery of the programme to measure the impact and value of research to NHS Wales.
This is a Health and Care Research Wales post, hosted by Powys Teaching Health Board.
