Full Job Description

The primary responsibility of the post holder is to ensure the provision of a high quality image acquisition service that meets the expectations of senior researchers from University of Bristol, and colleagues from Universities across the UK and internationally as research users. To maintain high professional standards that comply with the Standards of Proficiency for Radiographers as set out by the Health Professionals Council. Research imaging is to be performed on large animals (pigs and sheep). The role also occasionally includes clinical scanning of companion animal, and cadaveric anatomical scanning to support the Universitys wider educational programme., Please see the attached job description for a breakdown of the main duties of this post from standard responsibilities to additional responsibilities .

Bristol Medical School is the largest and one of the most diverse Schools in the University of Bristol,with approximately 1,100 members of staff, 1,350 undergraduate, 350 postgraduate taught and 300postgraduate doctoral research students.
