Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaboration between Stockport NHS Foundation Trust and Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust as a Band 7 Resuscitation Officer.
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual, with relevant resuscitation training experience, to begin a collaboration to provide a quality resuscitation service at both SNHSFT and TGICNHSFT.
Working across both sites, but primarily based in TGICNHSFT , you will assist the Lead Resuscitation Officer to plan, implement and evaluate a comprehensive resuscitation service for TGICNHSFT. This will include a full multidisciplinary training package (including Resuscitation Council (UK) and ALSG courses), resuscitation equipment provision for both hospital and community partners and actively participating in national audit data collection (NCAA).
You will be a current ALS instructor. It would be desirable to have paediatric instructorship, but the full support of the SNHSFT Educational Team to assist you in developing a paediatric resuscitation training portfolio.
The successful application will also strive to form links with Resuscitation Services across Greater Manchester, the Northwest and the UK.
Managing and providing a complete resuscitation training portfolio to the multidisciplinary teams at Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust.
Ensure resuscitation equipment provision for all clinical areas by audit and training processes
Supporting key stakeholders across the organisation with resuscitation training KPI and resuscitation performance KPI data.
Manage the ongoing, day to day issues surrounding resuscitation events (including deteriorating patients), equipment availability and provide key advice to the relevant stakeholders.
