Full Job Description
The Senior RTT Pathway Tracker role includes management of the patient journey through the care pathway in accordance with NHS England Referral to Treatment (RTT) guidelines and requirements. The successful candidate will have good organisational skills and a good knowledge of the RTT 18 guidelines. They will work closely with the Operational Management Team and liaise with the administrative and clinical staff to progress patient pathways and ensure accuracy of waiting lists., 1.1 To provide accurate data on possible and actual breaches to the clinicians, managers, specialist nurses and secretaries and assist in reviews of pathways to avoid breaches. The post holder will validate, resolve and correct Referral to Treatment (RTT) data quality issues 1.2 The post holder will be readily available to offer guidance and to support the training of clinical and administrative staff involved in patient pathways in the correct procedures and processes relating to RTT. To provide consistent guidance to all staff relating to the RTT procedures and processes. To deliver presentations on RTT to all staff as required. 1.3 The post holder will have strong working relationships with specified admin teams and will therefore build self-knowledge of speciality and sub-speciality clinical pathways within those specialties. 2.
