Full Job Description
We are looking for a talented Senior Sales Leader to join our team specialising in Original Equipment Service for our European Aftermarket Department in the United Kingdom (Other European sites can be considered) . In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and strengthen relationships with OE customers, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Account Strategy Development: Develop and execute strategies to grow the aftermarket business, identifying and addressing emerging customer needs.
- Sales Growth: Achieve sales goals by managing complex accounts, negotiating contracts, and increasing Cummins' share of the customer's business.
- Support and Coordination: Provide essential day-to-day activities for the OES coordinator, ensuring smooth operations and effective support.
- Cross-functional Communication: Ensure effective communication and alignment across sales roles and internal stakeholders to support cross-business account development.
- Customer Advocacy: Champion the voice of the customer within the business, implementing projects to improve customer relationships and value.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Provide accurate reports and forecasts using Cummins tools and CRM systems, supporting business strategy and decision-making.
- Mentorship and Development: Mentor and develop less experienced sales and account team staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth., To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Strong Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strategic Focus and Commercial Savvy: Align your actions with strategic goals and demonstrate a keen understanding of commercial dynamics.
- Account Strategy Development: Assess the current status of accounts and define future targets by balancing customer needs with business capabilities.
- Sales Forecasting and Pipeline Management: Analyse customer data to forecast future trends and proactively manage the sales pipeline to achieve objectives.
College, university, or equivalent degree in Marketing, Sales, technical or a related subject or an acceptable combination of education and experience required. - Significant level of relevant work experience required, including previous customer and/or product experience required. Purchasing/commercial contract negotiation preferred.
- Account management experience in the HD truck/On-Highway segment is advantageous.
