Your Opportunity Merstham Park School is looking to appoint a conscientious and dedicated Senior Science and DT Technician to provide technical and learning support to teaching staff and to our students. This role will be well suited for candidates who are looking to work with students to advise and guide them safely so that their learning in Science and DT is safe and enjoyable. You will assist in preparing equipment and materials and help in practical lessons. Although not essential, this could be the perfect opportunity if you're an aspiring Teacher (with the relevant experience) looking to gain experience before enrolling on to teacher training.   • Ability to plan and prioritise a range of regular and irregular tasks within specific deadlines.
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow strict Health and Safety Regulations.
  • Good knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office programs - Excel, Word, Outlook (training can be provided).

Pay Scale: Associate Specialist - £24,982 FTE (salary pro-rata to hours worked)
