Full Job Description

Are you a highly organised, proactive individual with a passion for providing efficient administrative support? Join our Adult ADHD Service as a Senior Secretary, where you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our specialist team. In this vital role, you will provide efficient and comprehensive administrative and typing support to our ADHD Consultant Psychiatrist and wider team. You will also assist in various aspects of service delivery, adapting to the evolving needs of the service as requested by the Administration Manager. You will also provide flexible administrative support to the Adult ADHD Service as required and requested by the Administration Manager.,

  • Administrative Support: Manage day-to-day correspondence, responding to patients, staff, and external stakeholders with professionalism and care.
  • Communication: Receive and manage telephone calls, taking appropriate action and ensuring important messages reach the right team members promptly.
  • Clinical Documentation: Accurately type clinical correspondence using audio or copy typing, ensuring all documentation is correctly filed, distributed, and tracked.
  • Patient Liaison: Co-ordinate and gather patient information, ensuring it is readily accessible to the team in a timely manner.
  • Referral Processing: Handle urgent referrals and arrange appropriate appointments efficiently.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in team and Trust meetings, contributing to the smooth operation of the service.
  • Working Hours: This is a part-time position, offering 22.5 hours per week.
