Full Job Description

  • Enhance the capabilities of the Operations Security team in managing the cybersecurity risk Metro Bank faces in relation to cybercrime and information security
  • Evaluate, build, test and maintain cybersecurity infrastructure throughout its lifecycle
  • Analyse and triage security events, ensuring the right actions are taken (further investigations, flag false positives for fine tuning, etc.), including the full spectrum of incident response where required
  • Manage Infrastructure Security request, problem and change tickets that have been logged through the support team or Jira and escalations from the business
  • responsible for the technical delivery, maintenance and scalability requirements of new and existing production security infrastructure, including IDS/NBA, NAC, WAF, content filtering, DLP and CASB systems
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of security policies, standards, processes, procedures and technical documentation including their implementation, maintenance and compliance
  • Participate and support in compliance management, i.e. with external regulatory/governing bodies, internal/external audits, IT risk and other stakeholders

    Proven experience working with cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS)
  • Deep understanding of network protocols, networks and security systems (e.g. security proxies, SASE, WAF, E-mail security gateways, SSO, CASB, DLP, IDS, IPS, NAC)
  • Knowledge of financial services industry and asset management (preferred)
  • A strong understanding in application security and technologies
  • Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 20, ISO27001/2 and industry standard security best practices
