Full Job Description

The role is based in Bradford District and Craven (BD&C) and is key to the success of our Shared Cared Record (SCR) and Data Quality (DQ) provision. Working with peers in Place you will facilitate SCR adoption in General Practice (GP) and manage the DQ Function (including Assist). You will work collaboratively with other DQ Teams in the ICB.

You will:

Be responsible to the Associate Director of Digital and use your experience to foster a high degree of autonomy in how you carry out the role.

Work closely with the Development and Standards Unit, the Primary Care Digital Reference Group and will be an active member of the wider Digital team.

Co-ordinate activities, primarily focussed on SystmOne, supporting the delivery of the SCR, to ensure DQ is maintained and aligned with Business Intelligence and the Population Health Management.

Lead a team to support and improve DQ and embed DQ awareness and skills across all primary care staff,

Promote best practice and deploy management controls to ensure that DQ improvement is well governed.

Use the highest level of communication and interpersonal skills to present and receive highly complex and sensitive information to a wide range of stakeholders., Provide expert Business Change advice for the SCR within PC. This will include changes to process incl but not limited to Cerner Millennium Acute EPR and the Yorkshire and Humber Care Record.

You will manage a team of 5 Data Quality / Assist staff to ensure data quality work requests are managed appropriately and will be part of the wider Digital Management Team.

In the Data Quality Manager element you will have the opportunity to design, implement and execute innovative data quality strategies that directly impact the quality of care delivered by Primary Care across BD&C and ultimately Improving Population Health and Reducing Inequalities. You will also work collaboratively with Data Quality Managers across West Yorkshire to ensure where appropriate these strategies are shared.

You will forge excellent working relationships with Primary Care Commissioning and Transformation colleagues, as well as Business Intelligence, Contracting and Programme Managers via attendance at stakeholder meetings. You will deal with and interpret complex and highly sensitive data and be required to build and develop advanced data reports to support stakeholders.

West Yorkshire Data Quality managers already work very closely together to align and streamline a Data Quality offer. You will play a key role in shaping the continued development.
