The Role: Shaping the Future of Child & Family Support

As a Senior Social Worker, you'll take on a leadership role within our Family Support and Safeguarding Team, guiding colleagues, mentoring team members, and ensuring the highest standards of care and support. You'll manage a reduced caseload to focus on these critical responsibilities, providing expertise, advice, and direct support for families with complex needs.

What you'll do:

Provide expert guidance and mentorship to your team
Step in for the team manager when required
Lead on complex cases, helping families with multiple challenges
Supervise and support the professional growth of colleagues

About You: Your Skills and Passion

We're seeking an experienced and compassionate professional who is ready to take the next step in their social work career.

You'll need to be:

Qualified & Registered: A registered Social Worker with Social Work England
Knowledgeable: Strong understanding of key childcare legislation, including 'Working Together to Safeguard Children'
Relationship-Driven: Skilled in building trust with children, young people, and families
Outcome-Focused: Committed to developing partnerships that focus on the best possible outcomes for the families we serve
