Senior Software Developer

Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division(Hexagon) is seeking a Senior Software Developer

The right candidate will have responsibility for delivery of high quality, release ready software components. The candidate will be involved in all aspects of our agile development process, including but not limited to, backlog management, detailed design and implementation, automated testing, documentation, and deployment.

The role requires collaboration with international development and product teams, plus assistance to the Alias support team with investigation of customer problems.

• Educated to degree level in Computer Science or similar technical subject


• Strong mathematical / engineering background


• C++ development experience


• Aptitude and enthusiasm for software development


• Good communication, team working and problem-solving skills


• Familiar with scrum or other agile development processes


• Unit testing and other automated testing techniques


Desirable

• Development and support of Microsoft COM based applications


• C# / .NET Framework


• Experience with CAD or engineering applications
