Job Description The Senior Software Engineer for backend technology is responsible for building, enhancing and maintaining products and/or systems to enable Sage's business plans and long-term objectives using the identified architecture. Must be able to go onsite three days a week in Newcastle. The Senior Software Engineer will contribute and lead in the design, development and delivery of high-quality products and/or systems and services that exceed customers' or business partners' expectations and will proactively share their own knowledge for specific technical solutions and business processes in their area of responsibility. This role is hybrid onsite three days a week in Newcastle.   • 5+ years of current C# and .NET development
  • 5+ years of SQL
  • 5+ years of JavaScript
  • Experience mentoring and leading junior developers, including code reviews. Experience working with Architects and Senior Colleagues to shape product definition. Experience cross collaborating with Product Management, QA, and other business units. Experience with Agile development and Scrum methodologies. Key Responsibilities Possess and apply a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of software development to the completion of difficult assignments.
