As a Senior Software Engineer, you will help to design and build solutions in the complex and challenging domain of Digital Rights Management. You work as part of a cross-functional squad of engineers, maintaining focus on secure, quality code. You will use automation to maximise efficiency and repeatability across the Software Development Lifecycle. You will work in a fast-paced, agile environment, developing solutions in Public Cloud. You'll be a strong, confident communicator, comfortable liaising with engineers from across the organisation WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Working in a delivery squad using well-established agile principles
- Work with lead engineers to design optimized solutions which meet product requirements
- Coding secure, efficient, and effective solutions
- Delivering solutions using AWS capabilities
- Adopting DevOps principles to code, build, implement and run solutions
- Ensuring that solutions conform to LSEG test strategy standards
- Working with Product Owners to understand requirements
- Working with the squad to provide accurate estimations for delivery
- Providing clear and concise communications to the squad and stakeholders
- Supporting junior engineers through collaboration and knowledge sharing
3+ years of Software Engineering experience using + C# .NET + Relational and NoSQL databases - Knowledge of UI development, ideally with Angular
- Experience of Terraform and working with CI / CD pipelines
- An ability to write clean and well-tested code
- Demonstrable experience of building applications in Public Cloud - AWS
- A good understanding of 'well-architected' principles
- Motivation, self-starting and a 'can do' attitude
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- An enthusiasm to learn new technology and approaches - and share them with others
- A willingness to undertake professional certification
- An understanding of the financial information domain is desirable
