Full Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join our team in Newbury. You will be responsible for E2E design across our IT ecosystem at Vodafone UK.

  • You will be delivering and assuring technical architecture artefacts for projects, whilst steering and talking with stakeholders across the organisation to define technology change.
  • You will act as the functional and technical expert for applications or a portfolio of related applications.
  • You will manage and support other Solutions Architects to deliver the designs for a portfolio
  • You will be working across key projects & programmes to design and deliver technology solutions with a clear view on strategic and tactical technology choices.
  • You will provide technology governance to ensure that solutions are aligned to the IT and business strategies.
  • You will be assisting in delivering technical solutions that provide business advantage to Vodafone through effective right time, right cost, and right solution design.

    You will ideally have a proven track record in an Architecture role with experience in at least one of the following: Digital, Order Management, Provisioning, Billing, Security, Integration, & B2B.
  • You will have led architecture projects in specific subject areas such as billing & have experience of other areas such as order management.
  • You will proactively identify capability gaps in specialist areas.
  • You will proactively look for change to identify areas of impact, highlight options, and make recommendations to give the best overall solution.
  • You will feel comfortable building relationships with stakeholders agreeing the correct course of action for specific projects or capability gaps.
  • You'll have an appreciation for understanding the business strategy and translates to technical strategy.
