Are you a seasoned telecommunications sourcing and contract negotiation expert who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment? The Communications Technology Services (CTS) team at Amazon is seeking a highly motivated Senior Sourcing & Vendor Manager to lead our strategic vendor partnerships across the world.

Serving as part of our elite Strategic IP Services (SIPS) team, you'll be the key point of contact for a diverse portfolio of telecommunications vendors. From managing day-to-day relationships to leading formal business reviews, you'll ensure our contracts are ironclad, SLAs are met, and any performance issues are swiftly resolved.

As an experienced negotiator, you'll excel at structuring new vendor agreements and renewals that drive top and bottom-line growth. You'll work closely with our global stakeholders to maintain standardization and identify new opportunities to streamline our operations.

- Extensive experience in telecommunications sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation

Key job responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for global telecommunications vendors
- Conduct high-level business reviews to ensure contract compliance and SLA adherence
- Identify cost optimization opportunities and lead complex vendor negotiations
- Interact with cross-functional teams to drive standardization and process improvements
- Resolve vendor performance issues and exercise contractual rights on behalf of Amazon

A day in the life
Collects and inputs vendor performance data from various stakeholder groups and tools into a vendor performance workbook.
Initiates vendor disputes related to SLA infractions to obtain service credits and follows through to dispute resolution.
Supports onboarding and maintenance of supplier escalation matrices.
Manages voice and data circuit detail governance, reconciles inventory discrepancies, and evaluates circuit contract term expirations to partner closely with ISPs to drive cost optimization opportunities.
Drives negotiations to ensure vendor agreement to Amazon key terms and conditions on MTSA and Wireline Service Schedules
Tracks and reports updates on key program initiatives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree
- Experience in developing, negotiating and executing business agreements
- Experience in a professional field or military

- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
