Full Job Description

We are delighted to be recruiting for a Senior Sous Chef to join our team. This position is within our hotel kitchen and you will report directly to our Head Chef, As Senior Sous Chef you will need to be a real leader. Having strong people skills to support our Head Chef with the management of our kitchen team.,

  • Confidence with the overall running of the kitchen.
  • Maintain excellent supplier relationships.
  • Supporting our Head Chef with the management of food costs and budgeting.
  • Working closely with our Kitchen Gardeners utilising our kitchen garden produce.
  • Planning kitchen team rotas.
  • Competent knowledge of health and safety regulations, food handling and dietary requirements.
  • Encourage development and support the kitchen team with their skills.
  • Take an active role in leading, teaching and inspiring our kitchen apprentices.
