Full Job Description
You will work alongside the current operational lead for Diabetes . The applicant will work as part of our wider community and acute Diabetes MDT.
You will be supported in your own personal development by a strong Dietetic Management Team. There is a strong emphasis on training at UHCW and you will have access to our own bespoke leadership and change management training, plus opportunity to attend relevant external courses funded by the department. You will also have the benefits of being part of a passionate peer network within UHCW and with our partnership organisations in Coventry and Warwickshire., o To carry out dietetic assessment appropriate to role and experience, provide nutritional diagnosis and provide a dietetic treatment plan for patients / clients.o To hold responsibility for own patient caseload including patients with complex presentationso Maintain clinical records in line with local / Trust documentation guidelineso To liaise with dietetic colleagues and other members of the multidisciplinary team as necessary e.g. Medical, nursing, catering and other health care professionalso To undertake leadership and line management duties as required for the posto To work within National and Trust policies / guidelines; and HCPC and BDA standards and codes of conducto To have an in depth understanding of national and local standards and able to monitor own practice against theseo To participate in bank holiday working and work flexible hours to meet the needs of the patients if required
The successful candidate will have solid clinical skills alongside experience of service development in Diabetes.
