Full Job Description
We are looking for someone who is focused on delivering the best care to our patients as well as creating the best experiences and opportunities for our staff. It is an exciting time for the organisation as we move to deliver our new trust strategy.,
- You will provide line management support to a Specialist Dietitian (band 6) whilst also supporting a Dietetic Assistant Practitioner based at University Hospital, Coventry.
- You will manage a caseloadacross a range of inpatient and outpatient services.
- Support service development with input from relevant MDTs, as able.
- Work with senior colleagues across the Dietetic and Speech and Language Therapy Department on department initiatives such as job planning.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, highly motivated and dynamic Dietitian to lead the GastroSurgery Team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. Previous gastroenterology and surgery experience is desirable but not essential for this post - we welcome applications from experienced candidates who are considering a career change., You should have leadership / management experience alongside solid clinical skills in any area of clinical dietetics. If you haven't worked in gastroenterology or surgery before but feel that you have transferable skills, we will support you to work towards achieving an agreed set of competencies over a 12 month period. This is a fantastic opportunity to remain in a band 7 leadership role whilst developing new clinical skills.
