Full Job Description
The post holder will effectively manage a caseload of clients with complex needs as an autonomous practitioner. Clinical Supervision and support will be provided by the Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist.
The post holder will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with service users, carers, families and the multidisciplinary team, following an evidence-based OT process. The post holder will be responsible for providing high quality assessment, delivering treatment interventions plans, and evaluating outcomes for individuals with complex needs. The post holder will work with Service Users to build independence and functional skills. The post holder will undertake environmental assessments and assess for equipment to promote safety and independence for the Service User. As part of Muti Disciplinary Team working the post holder will undertake, following training, assessments of Learning Disability and Holistic Assessments.
The post holder will be a dynamic and enthusiastic practitioner that is able to work in an autonomous manner. The post holder will use evidence based principles to assess, develop treatment plans, implement and evaluate interventions for clients with Learning Disabilities. You will use a Client Centred approach to ensure that goals are set collaboratively and are meaningful to the Service User. You will be highly motivated and able to work with a range of people.
