- Supporting and developing the business's management systems.
- Supporting the Senior Quality, EHS and Facilities Manager to ensure conformance to ISO9001:2015, TickITplus and business requirements.
- Supporting the operations team, including: + planning, + review of shop floor data, + assurance of implementation of manufacturing processes + audit, investigation and resolution of quality problems, + quality/process improvement.
- Liaising with suppliers and sub-contractors on quality matters, including: + Investigation and resolution of supplier related problems and quality/process improvement.
- Audit of suppliers and sub-contractors, and assessment of potential suppliers.
- Performing internal audits across the Business Management System.
- Coordinating and reporting on continual improvement programmes within the business. What you'll bring The role of Senior Quality Engineer requires the following experience and skills:
- HND\Degree level qualification in an engineering or business discipline.
- At least 3 years' experience in a technical role in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- A good working knowledge of manufacture and test in a high-tech environment
- Ability to work closely with a wide range of personnel throughout the organisation, suppliers and customers.
- Good analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct root cause analyses and devise suitable corrective action plans
- Understanding of continuous improvement / lean principles and tools.
- Experience using a wide range of root cause analysis tools. Important to know Due to the nature of our work many our roles require a UK nationality and the ability to obtain a security clearance.
