Senior SQL Server DBA - Remote

I'm looking for an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator to join a Microsoft Gold Certified Managed Services Provider, who specialise in DBA and development work. They are a relatively small and close-knit company, who operate on a fully-remote basis, with quarterly meet ups to get together, socialise, and celebrate their successes!

You will work as part of a growing team of DBAs to support their clients with the administration of both their on-premises and Azure-based servers, as well as helping with any migration projects where relevant.

This role is client-facing, so would be suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and providing exceptional customer service in everything that you do.

Everyone on the team takes their turn being on-call, so realistically you can expect to spend 1 week in every couple of months on call (exact rota to be confirmed).

Strong SQL Server DBA experience, on-premises and ideally on Azure too
Experience in database installation, back-up, restore and maintenance
Experience with SQL Server high availability and provisioning and configuring
Experience working on migration projects to Azure would be beneficial
Any experience with SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Power BI would be beneficial

Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience
