Full Job Description

The MRI Safety lead Radiographerwill act alongside the MR Physics team as an expert in scanning implanted devices and train other staff in their investigation and safe scanning.

Provide advanced and / or specialist diagnostic Radiography, to all patients and users of the service of University Hospitals Bristol and Weston Trust , ensuring the delivery is professional and patient centred.

The postholder will be required to work shifts including evenings and weekends and to participate in a 24 / 7 on-call rota for adult and paediatric non-cardiac emergencies.

You will develop training and scanning protocols for certain groups of patients and be required to collaborate with Radiologists and other Clinical staff to schedule specialised MRI examinations.

With the assistance of the MRI Modality Lead Radiographers you will help to compile a data base of conditional and non conditional implants for cardiac and non-cardiac work.
