We're looking for a Senior Staff Nurse to join our Cardiothoracic Surgical Inpatients team at the Harborne Hospital.
The Harborne Hospital - part of HCA Healthcare UK is a brand new £100million, purpose built 50 bed, multi-speciality private hospital.
Located on the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham campus, the hospital has a deep clinical infrastructure, equipment and facilities and expert, experienced teams to deliver full clinical pathways across a mix of specialties and sub-specialties at all levels of complexity including Cardiology, Cancer and Complex Surgery.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated nurse with exceptional skills and knowledge Cardiothoracic surgery to assist in the provision of outstanding patient care within HCA .
The ward is a 12 bedded multi-speciality surgical ward, including GI, Gynae, orthopaedics, breast, spinal, liver, etc. There is also a 6 bedded enhanced care unit with in room cardiac monitoring. We also have a state of the art Intensive Care unit with 6 beds.
As a Senior Staff Nurse, we'll look to you to provide clinical leadership and act as a mentor and role model to our junior members of staff.

Experience working in a surgical inpatient setting
Proven experience in caring for patients following cardiac / thoracic surgery (cardiac course desirable).
Current nursing registration (First Level) through the Nursing & Midwifery Council
To be willing to undertake relevant post-registration courses

Birmingham: The Harborne Hospital
Full time: Monday - Sunday 37.5 hours per week
Shift times: Flexible to work, long days, nights and weekends based on internal rotation.
Permanent Contract:
Salary: competitive (DOE) plus 9% shift allowance
