Full Job Description

As a Band 6 nurse within the Adult Intensive Care Unit at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, you will be able to fulfil your potential in a hospital that makes history. The trust provides care to patients from Northwest London and beyond. St Mary's Adult Intensive Care Unit is a 32 bedded unit that cares for patients from a wide range of specialties including trauma, vascular and medicine., We offer genuine opportunities to progress your career in Critical Care. In return we are looking for applicants who are hardworking, dynamic and excel in their communication skills. You will need to demonstrate a strong desire to be part of our department and have true passion to strive for excellent patient care.
By working with us we can offer you a multitude of career choices using the skills you have acquired so you can apply them in a number of other specialist roles including, clinical educator, outreach to support our former patients, organ donation or become an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or a Site Nurse Practitioner

You will need to have previous experience of working as a Critical Care nurse as a Band 5 or Band 6. You will need to have experience mentoring junior staff and be ready to take on a more senior role within our 32 bed Critical Care department.
