Our Children & Young People's Outpatient Department sees patients from birth until their 19th birthday for a range of different specialities including allergy clinics, asthma clinics, general paediatrics, rheumatology endocrinology, and urology surgical clinics. UASC clinics and neonatal clinics

We are looking for an enthusiastic, nurse who is motivated and committed to working within an outpatient setting. You will have the opportunity to develop specialist skills to further your career.
The post holder will play a key role in the senior nursing team; providing quality family centred care. He/she will demonstrate a high level of clinical specialist skills in order to provide the highest standard of individualized patient care. The candidate must be at least 2 years qualified., The post holder will maintain and develop our pre-assessment service. He/she will also be expected to work alongside the outpatient team which will include running allergy clinics, infectious disease clinics, and preassessment clinics.
Phlebotomy skills would be beneficial.
You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and have the ability to motivate and influence a team in response to the evolving needs of the service The successful post holder will actively participate in and contribute to the management of the outpatient department and work as a mentor, teaching and supervising junior staff including, student nurses and nursing assistants.
