Senior Staff Nurse - Ward

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and innovative Senior Staff Nurse to join our existing ward and Day surgery unit at Rowley Hall Hospital. If you are ready to take on the next step in your nursing career, where you will gain leadership skills and enhance your clinical skills then this role is for you., Demonstrate outstanding clinical practice at all times and to be accountable for own actions. Prioritise workloads and deliver high standards of care at all times. Assess, plan and evaluate care based on individual patient and family needs. Work alongside MDT to maximise effectiveness of service delivery. Continually seek to develop clinical skills and delivery of care to meet service users needs. Risk assessment and management, ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors, staff and colleagues. Clinically shift lead the department. Lead the department in the absence of the Ward Manager. Take on link roles ie: Infection prevention, ANTT, Health and safety and Audits. Support the ward manager in the running of the department. Support and act as a role model for Junior staff, encouraging a learning environment, assessing training needs and ensuring these are met.
