Role Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a regional team, providing strategic leadership for Middle Office Operations with a portfolio covering technological book of work, audit management, regulatory initiatives, business, and trading desk liaison, plus staff learning & development. The Senior Stock Lending Middle Office Manager will be required to partner with other internal and external stakeholders. What you'll do:

  • Team management, with remit to design and implement the strategic approach for the team
  • Operation leadership & desk / tech partnership on multiyear, multi-system projects to drive automation & efficiency
  • Operation leadership & desk / tech partnership on complex deals with mult ple internal and external stakeholders for business needs on balance sheet
  • Maintain detailed understanding of the business and work with industry wide (ISLA, AFME) and market participants to drive improvements within the functional area, including leading a successful risk control environment
  • Articulate complex recommendations, negotiating with senior leaders and building credibility and trust across regions
  • Develop partnerships with key global internal stakeholders, including Trading Desk, Operations Support teams, Technology, Risk & Control

    Advanced level experience in stock Borrow / Prime Brokerage with extensive experience in business, functional and people management preferred
  • Experience in management with Banking and Financial Institutions preferred
  • In-depth understanding of opportunities that exist within Financial Services and significant experience in Corporate Banking
  • Demonstrated success dealing with senior and executive management
  • Proven ability to manage various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment
  • Effective project management and negotiation skills
  • Consistently demonstrated clear and concise written and verbal communication
