Senior Stores Officer

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Lancashire to assist with the appointment of a Senior Stores Officer, on a 3-Weeks contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.,

• Obtaining spare parts at the best price from suppliers
• Accepting parts deliveries and checking off stock against orders placed
• Issuing stock to jobs and remedying problem issues
• Stock taking of parts
• Provide input and feedback into day-to-day stores operations and stores issues.
• Liaise with Technicians and supervisors, keeping them updated on parts availability and progress.
  
  Educated to GCSE standard with passes in English and Maths
(Grade C/level 4 or above)
• Possession of or the ability to demonstrate the capability to gain, relevant qualifications, licences or equivalent where applicable.
• Full UK valid driver's License or working towards obtaining
within 12 months of employment start date.
• Forklift truck License or willing to train for one
• Stores/ warehouse qualification NVQ etc
