Full Job Description

  • Working with leadership to set strategic priorities and delivering against them. Creating a culture that ensures we are constantly assessing and reviewing the performance of our investment decisions

  • Overseeing the processes which identify innovative technologies, prioritising these, scoping and running Proof of Concept exercises, creating business cases and driving adoption of new solutions within the Anti-Fraud team

  • Identifying, prioritising, scoping and overseeing execution of strategic projects to drive better commercial outcomes

  • Managing a team of commercial executives, including helping them design workplans, overcoming challenges, identifying next steps and ensuring key milestones and outcomes are achieved

  • Generating internal reporting to provide visibility on status of activities, performance of our tools and clear communication of issues and decisions to be taken

  • Being a primary conduit across other areas of the organisation (e.g. Claims and Fraud Operations, Data Science, Data Analytics, Underwriting, Claims) to collaborate on joint initiatives

    A very high level of Commercial awareness, with experience of how to make trade-offs and prioritise with a commercial rationale. This experience can come from any industry - fraud experience is beneficial but not essential

  • Able to deal well with ambiguity, identifying the most prominent issues amidst the nose, and developing plans for how to work through the problem and comfortable working to deliver against deadlines

  • Outstanding communication skills and stakeholder management - able to demonstrate influencing skills (with exposure to senior management)

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills - able to look at raw data sets and connect the dots to deliver an explanation of what the root drivers of performance are
