Senior Stroke Coordinator

The post holder will be the lead advisor on the decontamination of medical devices across BCUHB. They will work as a member of the Infection Prevention Team for the Health Board, with the support and supervision of the Senior Nurse Infection Prevention and the Assistant Director of Nursing Infection Prevention (ADN-IP).

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for leading and co-ordinating advice on all aspects of the decontamination of medical devices across BCUHB.

This includes advice on buildings, infrastructure, equipment, policy, training and staff competency across all sites and clinical disciplines.

The postholder will also support other aspects of the infection prevention programme across BCUHB as relevant to the post.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and / or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
