Full Job Description

This role will sit within the newly formed Student Experience Team and will report to the Student Experience Manager. The post holder will work closely with the Students' Union and the Associate Dean of Education, Quality and Student Experience.

This is an important and varied role which will include activities relating to committees, events, student surveys, feedback and student representation.

The Senior Student Experience Officer will support the recruitment of student reps, and work closely with the Students' Union. In addition, they will support the Student and Placement Awards and establish excellent working relationships with Associate Deans, Programme Directors and Heads of Division. Line management and Supporting the Student Experience Manager with investigating complaints are also key duties.

The post holder will have experience of working in Higher Education and providing outstanding student support and experience in accessing, interpreting and editing information and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

They will have knowledge of GDPR and knowledge of university regulatory frameworks, systems and procedures and experience of planning events and meetings. Excellent attention to detail, the ability to use initiative and to build positive working relationships with students and staff at all levels are also essential requirements.
