Full Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a Senior Student Support Mentor to join the Academy's Student Support Team. The successful candidate will be supporting the needs of a range of students whether that is in or out of the classroom and in our Inclusion Centre.

The Senior Student Support Mentor will line manage the Student Support Mentors attached to the year groups within the relevant Key Stage and will work closely with the Head of Key Stage to support and improve designated students' behaviour, attendance and wellbeing. The successful candidate will also be trained in the role of an Alternate Designated Safeguarding Lead.

The appointed candidates will be joining an existing dynamic, flexible, resilient and hardworking Student Support Team. A natural empathy, caring nature and proven experience of working with vulnerable students are all essential requirements to work in this challenging but extremely rewarding position.

Attleborough Academy is a popular, 11 to 18 Academy which is continually developing to meet the demands of providing the highest quality education for all students.
