Full Job Description

The Senior Support Worker plays a pivotal role in our organization, providing leadership, guidance, and support to a team of Support Workers. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, promoting positive outcomes for service users, and contributing to the overall success of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Team Leadership:
o Lead, motivate, and support a team of Support Workers
o Delegate tasks effectively and ensure workload distribution
o Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to team members
o Address team concerns and conflicts promptly
+ Service Delivery:
o Ensure the delivery of high-quality care that meets individual service user needs
o Develop and implement personalized support plans
o Monitor and evaluate service user progress
o Promote positive outcomes and quality of life for service users
+ Risk Management:
o Identify and assess potential risks to service users and staff
o Implement appropriate risk management strategies
o Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
+ Documentation:
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service user care
o Complete necessary documentation, including incident reports and care plans
o Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
+ Communication:
o Communicate effectively with service users, families, and professionals
o Build strong relationships with stakeholders
o Represent Halcyon Health & Social Care in a professional and positive manner

+ Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Support Worker
+ Relevant qualifications in health and social care (e.g., NVQ Level 3)
+ Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
+ Excellent communication and organizational abilities
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
+ Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
