Build and maintain constructive relationships with external professionals such as Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Adult Services. Facilitate open communication with these agencies to ensure high-quality care and support for clients.

Actively promote the service within the local community, contributing to a positive public image. Work with management to fill client vacancies and expand the service by assessing and selecting appropriate clients in collaboration with Adult Services.

Support the training and supervision of new staff, helping them achieve their care certificate and develop professionally. Conduct regular staff performance reviews, providing feedback and support for ongoing development.

Adhere to all HR policies and procedures, including health and safety, equal opportunities, and lone working protocols. Ensure all team members understand and follow these guidelines, fostering a safe and inclusive working environment.

Maintain strong communication channels within the team. Attend and contribute to staff meetings, keep managers informed of any issues or concerns, and ensure that the highest standards of care are maintained at all times.

Work within a positive risk management framework to assist clients in reducing risks. Respond to emergencies in the community and provide short-term support where necessary to ensure client safety.

Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client, staff, and company information. Ensure compliance with all policies relating to data protection and confidentiality, particularly with sensitive client details.
