Senior Support Worker - Ty Bronllys, Brecon - Hourly rate £12.50 to £13.75 Dependent on qualifications and Experience - Full time - 40.25 hours per week Are you seeking a new challenge and career development? About our home, Ty Bronllys : Ty Bronllys is nestled in beautifully scenic Brecon beacons National Park and offers a charming rural setting, beautiful landscapes and historic attractions. Our residents at Ty Bronllys like to take regular walks and hikes in the surrounding areas, visiting the local village and venturing into the rolling hills, lush green fields and engaging with the local history, including Bronllys Castle. On other days, they may wish to venture to Merthyr for shopping and swimming, or perhaps a visit to Brecon and take a walk along the river, stopping at a cafe for cake. Responsibilities :

  • Providing leadership to less experienced staff to ensure the development of best care practices and optimal outcomes for the adults in our care.
  • Promoting rights, allowing our individuals to be treated with dignity and respect in every aspect of their lives.
  • Establishing supportive relationships and encouraging the development of stable relationships between our supported individuals, other staff, and their families and friends.
  • Ensuring that all care plans, key-working files, and care files are updated, accurate, and maintained.
  • Supporting the staff team in their role as key-workers and facilitating training as required.

  • Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts.
  • QCF level 3 qualified or currently working towards.
  • Knowledge of statutory regulations.
  • Able to understand and adhere to relevant safeguarding.
  • Experience of conducting Health and Safety risk assessments.
  • Please note : This job role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
