Full Job Description

This is a Senior Support Worker role at Tottle Brook House, a registered care setting operated by Elysium Healthcare. The role involves providing care and support for individuals with learning disabilities and autism, including those with highly complex needs and challenging behaviors. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and overseeing shift operations, ensuring the wellbeing of service users, and supervising support staff., As a Senior Support Worker, you will be part of an inclusive, supportive team that works together to provide high-quality care to people with learning disabilities and mental health conditions. You will have the opportunity to use your knowledge and skills to make a real difference in the lives of some of the most vulnerable people in society. Your key responsibilities will include organizing and overseeing the smooth running of shifts, ensuring the wellbeing of all service users, responding to any challenges or concerns, and supervising support staff. You will also be responsible for organizing activities, administering medication, communicating with families and professionals, overseeing daily reports and budgets, completing financial audits, and conducting health and safety checks.
