Full Job Description
In this role you will support the team to deliver a front-line, person-centred care service. You will work with the Management Team to ensure that high quality care is delivered in accordance with Care Quality Commission standards and current legislation. You will lead and manage your own team. In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the management team in the delivery of front-line care services
- Managing day-to-day activities of a small team in separate houses
- Undertaking assessments, implementing support plans, maintaining records and developing individual programmes
- Supporting individuals with day-to-day living, including accessing community, domestic chores, personal care and medication
- Assisting in the review of quality of care
- Liaising with carers, relatives, colleagues and other agencies
- Motivating and mentoring the team around you
Significant experience within a social service, supported living or health setting - Knowledge of current legislation and standards in relation to the service
- Understanding of the needs and aspirations of adults with learning difficulties who may have additional physical or sensory disabilities or mental health needs
- The ability to communicate with people with physical, cognitive or learning difficulties
- Experience of working as part of a team and an understanding of how to develop and motivate colleagues

The starting salary for this role is £29,697 per annum working 36 hours per week, based at Walton On Thames in Surrey.
