Senior Surveyor / Associate Director, Business Rates

Our London office works across a broad range of property types, with inspections supported by the wider team to minimise travelling long distances. You'll be empowered to make strategic decisions, backed by the latest technology and resources, to drive your success and career progression within the team.,

• Inspection and measurement of client properties.


• Draft floor plans, through use of our CAD program.


• Manage client cases, formulating appeals.


• Prepare assessment reports; report, analyse, investigate and gather evidence for business rates assessment appeals.


• Keep company records and databases updated.


• Communicate with clients, both written and verbally.


• Deliver excellent service to clients ensuring strong and positive working relationships, effectively dealing with any issues or queries.

  Minimum of 2+ years experience in rating.


• University degree - A Real Estate or property related degree would be beneficial but non-cognate degrees/ equivalent experience will be considered.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Must be a team player.


• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.


• The ability to develop and maintain professional relationships.


• A strong commercial awareness.


• High attention to detail.


• Excellent time management.


• Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Excel, Word and CRM systems.
