Full Job Description

As a Senior Systems Engineering CoE Tech Lead, you will play a crucial role in the training, ongoing enablement, and development of Associate SEs (ASE) within the Systems Engineering CoE. Your knowledge and desire to coach will help Associate SEs gain the skill sets to achieve current goals, and prepare for field facing roles in the future. Additionally, you will be a key to assisting in the build out of the CoE at scale, and prepare yourself for additional leadership opportunities at Pure.
SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE YOU WILL:

Be a leader in the continued build of the CoE strategy and development plan at scale
Partner closely with ASEs acting as the technical subject matter expert, taking lead in hands on assistance with service catalog tasks building ASE independence
Be a primary escalation point when ASEs run into technical roadblocks
Use your experience and knowledge to help ASEs deliver an amazing customer experience and drive additional revenue through lifecycle management services
Coach and build mentors/leaders on the ASE team to aid in onboarding and continued development and success of other ASEs
Develop ASE new hire bootcamps, as well as being physically present to partner with CoE leaders and deliver the training modules in ASE bootcamps
Partner with CoE Leadership and internal stakeholders for continual improvement and feedback on services, as well as leading the deployment of identified improvement areas
Building or assisting with new enablement content for the CoE
Partner with Sales Enablement to maintain and update CoE learning paths, as well as define curriculum to satisfy ASE requirements to move to field facing roles
Close alignment and collaboration with field SEs, AEs, Sales Leadership, GSO, GPO, Professional Services, Renewals, and other BUs to maintain relevant knowledge of current field practices, as well as working together to build and optimize joint service workflows with the CoE
Be a champion and evangelist for the CoE within Pure, consistently delivering updates to the field, as well as receiving and incorporating field feedback
Be an active part of assisting CoE leaders with the continued development and feedback on KPIs, SLAs, and general catalog services
Partner with CoE leadership in the evaluations and coaching for ASEs
Take lead on ASE team calls, training, QBRs and more
Be an active part of defining the roadmap of the overall CoE, as well as the roadmap for continued CoE enablement

A strong passion for delivering, building, and creating enablement content
A strong passion for helping others grow their skill sets and mentoring, as well as leading enablement, training, and a hands-on approach to assisting others
Strong technical experience with Pure Storage solutions and lifecycle management programs are required
BS in CS, EE or other technical degree and/or equivalent experience
5 or more years of relevant experience, mixed among technology, design, and communications, different market segments, and pre-sales is required. Experience supporting the sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software
Deep understanding of the architecture, design and implementation of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions
Superior knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN)
Previous experience with Linux, NFS file systems and Linux distributed network environment
Knowledge of VMware, Local Area Networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP and general networking
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP a plus
Familiarity with containers, k8s and microservices architectures a plus
Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills
Good communication skills with customers
Coaching skills to guide the ASEs to provide quality in the services they deliver
25-30% Travel Required
