Full Job Description

The Senior Technical Engineer will have responsibility for the overall profitable delivery of Telecoms and wider MEP within multi-disciplinary projects, managing multiple teams and sub-contractors ensuring overall design, build & commissioning against client specification.

This role would suit an ambitious, driven individual who embraces the challenge of working within a high performing and supportive team. Experience within the civil engineering industry is essential for this role, ideally coming from a main contractor background. To be successful in this role, you will:

  • CITB Site Management or equivalent
  • Time Served electrician or qualified to Level 4 as a minimum in relevant discipline
  • NVQ Management Level 3 or equivalent (preferable or working towards)
  • CSCS Accreditation
  • Have a clear commercial understanding of the contract, forecasting outputs against programme and comparing to actual work completed
  • Proven track record of leading multiple discipline teams
  • Experience of working in Telecoms in an infrastructure enviromnment
  • A good understanding of operational activities and trade skills
  • Financial/commercial awareness and ability to work to budgets
  • A good understanding of specification contracts
  • Understanding of resource scheduling to include effective prioritising in an ever changing environment
