Senior Technical Support Officer

As a Senior Technical Support Officer, you will serve as the first point of contact for enquiries related to the Management Information System, while maintaining, developing, and updating databases, software, and reporting systems. As part of this role, you will be responsible for transcribing investigative interview tapes for court use, as well as taking accurate notes and minutes at various meetings. You will also support all the Public Protection teams by providing technical knowledge and administrative support.

We are looking for a professional officer who is educated to a NVQ Level 4 in Business Administration or equivalent. You should have excellent knowledge of ICT systems, in particular MS Excel, and experience in working in a high-compliance environment, with the ability to demonstrate quality assurance processes and procedures. Proficiency in analysing and presenting statistical data is essential as well as experience in using Excel formulas to create data in an accessible form.
