Full Job Description

Support the Head of Vendor Performance Manager in the development and implementation of a Digital Vendor management strategy that delivers against the Trust's strategic priorities and translates Digital and business imperatives into effective Digital strategies.

Manage the Non-Pay supplier budget, manage/track the forecasted spend, risks on over-spend and service reduction/service consolidation opportunities as a result of effective contract, SRM, asset and Digital demand management.

Establishing and/or improving where needed, the internal and external policies, standards, and processes for different types of vendor interaction both pre and post contract award in line with procurement legislation.

Managing the communication process with vendors (in collaboration with NCA procurement) pre contract, including what information should be communicated internally and externally, when and by whom, to ensure that appropriate leverage is preserved.

Keeping abreast of industry trends that have an impact on the Digital vendor strategy, through external advisory services, internal teams such as NCA procurement and good working relationships with existing and emerging strategic vendors used by the Trust.

Identifying service optimisation opportunities across the Trust and sharing those with the Head of Vendor Performance Management and leading on the delivery of many of those identified initiative.
