Full Job Description
Are you ready to take the next step in your veterinary career? We're on the lookout for a confident and passionate Senior Veterinary Surgeon to lead a fantastic team and help shape the future of a thriving practice.
Why this role?
You'll work full-time across 4 or 4.5 days a week with a fair and balanced rota that includes just one in four Saturdays and occasional Sundays or bank holidays. This is the perfect opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities, making a genuine impact on both patients and colleagues alike.
What we're looking for:
We're seeking an experienced small animal vet ready to embrace a management role. You'll enjoy a mix of consultations and surgeries and be comfortable with occasional sole charge. If you're a Vet GDP advisor or aspire to become one, even better! Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering exceptional customer service to our valued clients.
Implementing policies and procedures that meet professional standards.
Leading, supporting, and mentoring an experienced team, including conducting reviews and promoting wellbeing.
Driving the growth and development of the practice for both existing and new clients.
Why join us?
We know that to provide the best care, you need the best support. That's why we offer:
Generous holiday package - 6.6 weeks, including bank holidays.
RCVS and VDS cover - we've got you covered!
CPD allowance - £1,750, with additional funding for certificate holders.
Certificates encouraged and funded - pursue your passions.
Flexible benefits - enhanced sick and parental leave, holiday buy/sell scheme, and more.
Healthshield wellbeing programme - prioritise your health.
Staff discounts - because your pets deserve the best too.
Volunteering leave - a day to give back, on us.
Plus, you'll have access to advanced facilities and a dedicated referral hospital, ensuring you can continue to grow and develop your skills.
If you're looking for a fulfilling role that balances clinical excellence with leadership, we'd love to hear from you!
