Full Job Description

In a senior position you will work closely with your clinical team lead holding oversight over your team of PWP's.

You will work alongside a wider team of Senior PWP's who are fundamental in the innovation of the service, as well as leadership you will have the opportunity to work on improvement projects. For applicants to the Teignbridge position, you will work alongside another Full time Senior PWP.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in leadership skills, to find your managerial style and to be involved with developing the service's provision of evidence based, low intensity treatment for people with common mental health difficulties.

We are looking for an enthusiastic team players who has commitment to our local services here in the Teignbridge and South Hams and West Devon areas.

Main duties of the job

The post-holder will:

Offer evidence-based practice in low intensity CBT interventions.

Develop, support and train innovative practice to trainee NHS Talking Therapies psychological well-being practitioners.

The post holder will be available to offer day to day coaching, advice and support to Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners in their locality and where necessary in other localities- covering for colleagues.

Deliver significant case management, and clinical supervision to psychological well-being practitioners and trainees.

Demonstrate enthusiasm for the development of low intensity services to share their interest and passion, and to develop these qualities and skills in others.

The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and will work in various community settings.

The post holder will line manage Psychological Well Being Practitioners and trainees under the direction of the Clinical Team Manager.

Participate in activities of continuing professional development (CPD) on an annual basis.

Will contribute to the smooth running of the referral receipt and coordination part of the service.
