Full Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced pharmacist to play a pivotal role in our service for patients within Women's Health, Children and Young People including Simmons House (Tier 4 CAMHS), community services relating to these areas at Whittington Health NHS trust & providing education and training support within Whittington.
The post holder will work closely both with our pharmacy team and the Women's and Children multidisciplinary teams to:
+ Provide and further develop high value clinical pharmacy services for patients admitted to Women and Children areas
+ Contribute to the Women and Children's MDTs through multiple training sessions
+ Input into clinical guidelines, PGD development and service improvement work.
+ Work across the hospital-community interface to improve medicines management on transfer of care and improve patient safety.
+ Develop integrated working with the community services providing pharmacy support to services including health visitors, community midwives, paediatric services and schools.
The post holder will also be supporting the education and training of undergraduate pharmacy students, pharmacy staff and the wider MDT. They will be pivotal in the development of new roles that link academia and the department e.g. Teacher practitioner roles as well as workforce recruitment with attendance at fairs and schools.

+ Participate in required training and supervision.
+ Comply with required professional boundaries and codes of conduct
