Join the Award-Winning SEO department at Mindshare. We're seeking an ambitious SEO Account Manager to join our team. Your role will be to work collaboratively alongside our talented ADs, AMs, and AEs to deliver best in class SEO strategies for our cleints. The is a both a client face role and one where you will be hands on with data collection, analysis and providing recommendations.

About the role

With the support of an Account Director, the SEO Account Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of one of the world largest consumer electronics brands and a major high street food brand.

Responsibilities include:

  • Client Servicing - Visible as a key point of contact for clients and ensure they are happy with work delivered.


  • Account Management - Effectively managing your own time, and time allocated to junior team members. To complete deliverables in the scope of work to share with the client on time and to a high standard.


  • Full Service SEO - Provide detail insights on a full suite of technical and on-page SEO features and their business impact.


  • Product Launches - Support our clients during the launch of new innovative technology to ensure that any errors within the site are idenitified and communicated.


  • Analysis - Lead analytical work streams, discovering deep and meaningful insights to help inform content and technical strategies in this highly competitive market.


  • Measurement - Ensure performance is benchmarked and measured and push the boundaries of reporting standards.


  • Team Support - As a line manager, support the evolution of an Account Executive and the wider team.


  • Collaboration - Working closely with the other SEO sub-teams as well as Mindshare analytics, media, and planning teams to deliver consistent and considered work.


  • New Business - Assist in growing business with existing clients as well as involvement with new business

    Strong SEO skillset


  • Confident with technical SEO work streams and platforms, including Screaming Frog, Lumar, SimilarWeb, Ahrefs, SEMRush, SEOMonitor and SEO Clarity


  • Experience with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics.


  • Experience building and managing relationships with clients with strong interpersonal skills


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a meticulous eye for detail


  • Confident presenting to stakeholders on a regular basis


  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint


  • Keen eye for keeping up to date with SEO industry news on relevant insights for clients


  • Experience with enterprise size SEO sites is an advantage
