Full Job Description

As a SEO Executive you will be reporting to the Digital Acquisition Manager and be a part of our Vanquis Marketing team. As a SEO Executive, you will be responsible for guiding and shaping our existing strategy, writing and shaping keyword optimised content and utilising regular reports to measure performance. This is an exciting time to join the team, we are gearing up for a new project and you will play a pivotal role in shaping and designing from inception to completion. Collaborating with a diverse team whilst managing relationships with 3rd party suppliers. Join us and be part of this innovative journey! In your day-to-day role, as an SEO Executive you will :

  • Perform regular technical audits of the website using tools such as Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahref, Google Search Console and Page Speed Insights to feed required improvements into the web development pipeline.
  • Create monthly SEO reports to assess performance and track keyword rankings vs competitors.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Team to ensure SEO best practice across websites and identify opportunities where improvements can be made.
  • Effectively communicate SEO requirements with all stakeholders and ensure projects are delivered in time.
  • Manage all aspects of onsite optimisation and SEO content creation through techniques like page analysis, image optimisation, content gap analysis, keyword gap analysis, backlink analysis and Core Web Vitals.
  • Manage link building strategy and support 3rd party PR agency to achieve KPIs.

    2+ years of SEO experience working with an agency or in-house.
  • Excellent knowledge of on-site, off-site and technical SEO.
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to write engaging content that is optimised for targeted keywords.
  • Proven experience using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio and Page Speed Insights / Google Chrome Lighthouse
  • Deep understanding of content optimisation, keyword research and on page SEO best practise
  • Desirable :
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of WordPress & Umbraco
  • Digital marketing qualifications
  • Experience working in a FCA regulated environment

    We are happy for you to be based in Bradford, Chatham or Petersfield but please note that occasional travel will be required to our other offices
