Full Job Description
Flint Technology Services is seeking an experienced Server Administrator to join one of our clients, based in London. This role requires a strong background in CCNA, Active Directory, Commvault back-ups, and VMware. As a Server Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our server infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations, system performance, and data integrity across the organization.,
- Administer and maintain server environments including physical and virtual Servers, ensuring high availability and system performance.
- Manage network infrastructure using CCNA principles, including configuring and troubleshooting network devices.
- Oversee Active Directory administration, including user account management, group policies, and access control.
- Implement and manage Commvault backup solutions, ensuring data protection and disaster recovery readiness.
- Administer VMware environments, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting virtual machines and hypervisors.
- Monitor server performance, security, and capacity, implementing solutions to maintain optimal performance.
- Provide technical support and resolve hardware and software issues across Servers and associated systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure projects and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Proven experience as a Server Administrator with strong expertise in CCNA, Active Directory, Commvault, and VMware. - Strong understanding of networking concepts and server infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Commvault backup administration, ensuring reliable data management and recovery.
- Hands-on experience managing VMware environments, including virtual machines, storage, and network configurations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex server-related issues.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with IT and business teams.
