We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our Health & Care team as a Service Administration Assistant. You will be providing crucial support to a vital service.
A day in the life of a Service Administration Assistant:
You will assist the Support Officer in providing administrative and operational support functions to the area that is managed and delivered in accordance with both the needs of the area and corporate requirements.
You will be an efficient administrator who is confident to respond to incoming enquiries from healthcare professionals and (often vulnerable) members of the public over the phone and by email.
You will be able to use IT systems and databases in your role and produce well written letters and emails.
We are open to discussing flexibility with working hours so would welcome applications from candidates who would prefer working term time or evenings and weekends.
Are you motivated, committed and enthusiastic? Do you have excellent communication skills and an ability to deal with people in a sensitive yet professional manner?, To be a successful Service Administration Assistant you must have the following skills and experience:
Positive, passionate and enthusiastic approach to customer service
Confident in using telephone systems, bespoke company IT/data systems, Microsoft packages & Outlook (especially the ability to create, amend and manipulate Word and Excel applications)
General administrative duties; incoming and outgoing mail, answering the telephone and scanning, filing, meeting and greeting clients
Outgoing with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to deal with queries in a diplomatic, professional, sensitive and confidential manner (both verbally and in writing)
Ability to work accurately, with great attention to detail when checking documentation
